Student Books contain discussion exercises, journal-writing activities, summaries of information presented orally by the teacher, and interesting sidebars, all in an eye-catching format. Each of the 14 Discovering courses provides six 1-hour sessions for parish programs. The Catechist Guides are designed with the volunteer teacher in mind. Marginal notes help catechists connect lesson plans to the student book which is bound into the guide. Each guide provides helpful background and six 1-hour session plans. (©1999)
