The Pillars — Ascension

Pillar 1: The Creed makes the Catechism of the Catholic Church come alive, showing how each believer's personal journey of faith fits into the amazing story of salvation told in the Creed. Far more than a list of "faith facts," the Catechism provides a sure map for the journey of faith. Participants will learn what God's "innermost secret" is and how they are called to participate in it. They will discover that the journey of faith is one from "blessing to blessing" and how the Catechism can be used for the New Evangelization. Learn the role the angels play in aiding in salvation; learn what the church teaches about the final judgement; learn what it means to say that Jesus, "descended into hell," and much more.

In Pillar 2: Sacraments participants learn how these fonts of grace can transform their lives and provide strength, healing and hope.

DVD Sets contain twelve 45-minutes sessions on 6 DVDs filmed in high definition and including full-color graphics and dozens of quotes from Scripture and the saints. Each participant needs a Study Set. Leader Guide gives the facilitator the tools to lead the group. The Starter Packs include the DVD Set, one Student Study Set and the Leader Guide.
