Call to Celebrate: Confirmation, Older Adolescents — Our Sunday Visitor

Older Adolescents. Eight sessions each with opening ritual prayer, age-appropriate content, Scripture, reflection and discussion opportunities, and activities. A program that invites young people to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their faith and connect to the whole faith community. Special features of the Candidate Book include Signs of Faith, Symbol of the Holy Spirit, Witness of Faith, Faith in Action, and a Share Together section for candidates and their families or sponsors. The Catechist Edition contains a theological, spiritual and historical background to the sacraments, Catechism Connection, resources, prayer, teaching tips, a session planner and additional activity options. The Sponsor and Mentor Handbook leads sponsors through the Confirmation process, explains their role and offers suggestions for continuing a relationship with the candidate. The Confirmation Source Book provides resources for parish leaders including catechist formation, parent sessions, sponsor sessions and retreats. Other program components include DVD, Certificates, and a Music CD.

Candidate Book, Catechist Guide and Sourcebook with copyright dates of 2011 have been updated to include the Revised Order of the Mass.
