For high school. The third edition of Confirmed in a Faithful Community includes major revisions and updates. Grounded in the vision of initiation established by the RCIA, its goals include helping Confirmation candidates embrace their baptismal call, experience deeper initiation into the church community, grow in knowledge of Jesus, understand the church and the role of the sacraments, recognize the activity of the Holy Spirit, and understand the rite of Confirmation and celebrate it in a meaningful way. There are two versions of the program. One, with a 152-page Candidate Handbook, is designed to stand alone. The other, the Immediate Preparation Edition, with a 64-page Candidate Handbook is formatted to make Confirmation preparation part of an already existing youth ministry or catechetical program. Both versions of the program have four components: Candidate Book, Coordinator Manual, Catechist Guide and Sponsor Guide.
