Developed for Curriculum Framework Elective Option E: Ecumenical and Interreligious Issues.

The purpose of this text is to help the students understand how the Catholic Church relates to non-Catholic Christians, as well as to those who belong to other World Religions. The course establishes that Jesus founded and entrusted to the Catholic church the fullness of truth. It goes on to help the students to recognize that important spiritual truths can be found in non-Catholic Christian Churches and ecclesial communities, as well as in other World Religions. It helps the students understand what other Christians and those who belong to other World Religions believe and how they practice their faith. Approved by the Bishops' Committee. (©2019)
