What We Do in Advent

Young children (ages 4-8) understand that Advent is a time of getting ready for Jesus' birth. Shopping, decorating, baking and sending cards are good ways to prepare for the celebration. But when we remember that Jesus comes to save the whole world, and that he loves us more than we can imagine, we know that we need to get ready in a deeper way.
