Eleven 45- to 60-minute core sessions on morality. Three sessions cover the Catholic method of making moral decisions, social justice, and sources of moral truth (natural law, ten commandments, law of the Gospel, precepts of the church). Seven sessions cover the commandments: honoring God, honoring family, respecting life, respecting sexuality (2 sessions), respecting material goods, respecting truth. One session covers the cardinal and theological virtues.
The manual also includes optional activities to extend your class to 90 minutes or longer, reproducible handouts, a 10- to 15-minute prayer service on the session theme, and suggestions for connecting the topic to parish, community and family life.
