Student Books have 21 chapters and present the Catholic faith in precise theological language, coupled with an emphasis on Catholic practices, images, and models of faith to build Catholic identity. They are organized around seven key themes of Catholic teaching that repeat each year within a grade-level focus. At the heart of each lesson is a unique pedagogy that mirrors the divine pedagogy--the gradual and relational way God teaches us so that we can know him, be guided by the Holy Spirit to respond with faith and love, and accept the gift of new life in Christ.
