Pillars of Faith — Ascension

Pillars of Faith is a complete K–8 curriculum that evangelizes students, catechists, and families through an exciting new kind of catechesis. It is the only curriculum that pairs with uniquely crafted Catholic Bibles and Catechisms adapted for students in K-8. Every lesson has a Scripture and Catechism tie-in so students can follow along in their own copies of The Great Adventure Bible and Catechism of the Catholic Church.

NOTE: While the Great Adventure Bible for Young Beginners and Ascension’s Catechism for Young Beginners are integrated with every lesson of Pillars of Faith, they are not required for purchase with the curriculum. The publisher recommends that students have their own copies—especially beginning in 1st grade—but it is not necessary. Catechists and teachers, however, should have at least one copy of each for classroom use. Both are included with the purchase of a Catechist’s Guide or Teacher’s Guide.

Grades 3–8 will be released over the subsequent years starting in 2027, allowing children in grades K–2 to continue their faith formation journey with Ascension.
