Christ In Us, K-8 — Sadlier Religion

Grades K–8. Built on the pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Scripture. Uses a proven framework for learning to help children develop enduring understanding of their Catholic Faith. Christ In Us is anchored in three dimensions of the mission of evangelization and catechesis: encounter with Christ, the art of accompaniment, and missionary discipleship. Each lesson leads children through a three-part movement that guides their faith formation: Encounter, Accompany, and Witness. A spiral curriculum leads children through a process of inquiry-posing an Essential Question of faith for each unit and lesson. Essential Questions recur in all grades, deepening understand as lessons building on faith concepts in developmentally appropriate ways each year. A blended learning program that seamlessly integrates Student Editions and Teacher Manuals with online resources to meet the needs of parishes, schools and families. Access to digital tools and resources is a hallmark of this program, supporting engagement and easing communication between the school and families. Tools and resources are mobile friendly and available anytime, anywhere on most internet-enabled devices. Lesson-planning tools are flexible so teachers can prep anywhere. A digital project portfolio supports creativity and witness with innovative tasks that challenge disciples to apply what they've learned to their own lives. Meaningful assessments and assignments monitor program participation and ensure accountability. Features to adapt the lessons for inclusion offer point-of-use options to make each experience equitable for children with special needs.
