Catholicism Study Program — Word on Fire

The Catholicism Adult Study Program presents the strong, ecclesial dimension of the Catholic Faith: God’s revelation through Jesus Christ and his church. Robert Barron takes viewers to the sacred lands of Israel, the shrines of Italy, France and Spain, the streets of India, Mexico, Uganda, Poland, and the United States.
The Leader Kit includes the DVD boxed set, a Leader Edition Study Guide/Workbook, a 300-page companion book based on a more detailed rendering of the scripts for the DVD series, a set of 40 prayer cards for the New Evangelization, and a Faith Clips DVD with the 50 most frequently asked questions on the Catholic faith and a clear video response from Fr. Barron. The Participant Study Guide and Workbook takes each student deeper into the DVD series. The study guide/workbook contains ten lessons which correspond to the ten episode’s of Father Barron’s series. Each study guide lesson provides commentary on the theological content plus Questions for Understanding and Questions for Application. These incorporate references from Scripture and from the Catechism. Each participant in the study program needs his or her own copy of the Participant Study Guide and Workbook. The DVD box set (included in the Leader Kit) is also sold separately. It includes five DVDs, each with two episodes. The episodes run 50-60 minutes each.
