Details
Package of 25 St. Vincent de Paul People of Faith cards. Each card contains a prayer and brief biography on the back. A resource for any catechetical program.
Text on the back of the card:
Saint Vincent de Paul
1581-1660
Feast Day -- September 27
Saing Vincent gave poor, sick children food. clothes, toys and medicine. He also taught them about Jesus. Other people saw what he was doing and wanted to help him, so he formed a group for men called the Congregation of the Mission, and a group for women called the Daughters of Charity. There may be a store in your town called "Saint Vincent de Paul" that sells secondhand things. That store and others were named after Saint Vincent.
Patron of charities, horses, and St. Vincent de Paul Societies. Saint Vincent was once captured by Turkish pirates.
May we always give as generously to the poor as Saint Vincent did. Amen.
