Celebrate and Remember: Reconciliation — Saint Mary’s Press

For primary grades. Through the process of liturgical catechesis, preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation takes place not only by learning about the rite but also through the rite that is going to be celebrated. The process results in a deeper understanding and a more meaningful celebration. Each chapter includes an opening prayer; We Listen: a Scripture story with an on-page activity; We Learn: doctrinal instruction with an on-page activity; Heart-to-Heart: an experiential story that shows how the Scripture and doctrine can be lived out; and We Pray: a closing prayer celebration. Chapter features include key words in bold and defined in the glossary, take-home activities, sidebars that explore the lives of saints, unique aspects of the Catholic faith, and the signs and symbols of the faith. Program components include a Child's Book, Catechist Guide, Home Guide and Program Director Manual.
