The Cornerstone Series — Our Sunday Visitor

Special Note about Our Sunday Visitor Cornerstone Series: In order to focus on elementary curriculum, OSV has decided to discontinue their high school framework series, Cornerstone. The OSV high school website will be maintained. We cannot guarantee availability of any Our Sunday Visitor high school text after June 1, 2016.

The Doctrinal Framework Series from Our Sunday Visitor is theologically complete and developmentally appropriate. The texts promote Catholic identity and a life of discipleship. Each course treats the requirements of the Framework and also invites students to consider essential dimensions of Catholic life: morality, spirituality, prayer and justice. Student Texts include in-text questions for comprehension and application, section and chapter reviews that range from lower to higher order processes, and academic and formative activities. Teacher Manuals are full-color wraparound editions and include chapter assessments and rubrics as well as pre-and post-assessments to gauge prior learning and to evaluate understanding. They also have chapter planning guides, background information, project planning sheets and reproducible resources. Other chapter-specific resources for teachers and students are available online. All courses are in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the USCCB's Curriculum Framework. (©2011-2014)
