Call to Celebrate: Confirmation, Younger Adolescents — Our Sunday Visitor

Younger adolescents. Eight sessions each with opening ritual prayer, age-appropriate content, Scripture, reflection and discussion opportunities, and activities. A program that invites young people to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their faith and connect to the whole faith community. Special features of the Candidate Book include Signs of Faith, Symbol of the Holy Spirit, Witness of Faith, Faith in Action, and a Share Together section for candidates and their families or sponsors. The Catechist Edition contains a theological, spiritual and historical background to the sacraments, Catechism Connection, resources, prayer, teaching tips, a session planner and additional activity options. The Sponsor and Mentor Handbook leads sponsors through the Confirmation process, explains their role and offers suggestions for continuing a relationship with the candidate. The Confirmation Source Book provides resources for parish leaders including catechist formation, parent sessions, sponsor sessions and retreats. The program DVD consists of five segments which can be used with the candidate's themselves or to facilitate a parent/sponsor orientation.

Candidate Book, Catechist Guide and Sourcebook with 2011 copyright dates have been updated to include the Revised Order of the Mass.
