The Sacrament of Confirmation.  Seven lessons provide teachers with dozens of teacher-written, classroom-tested activities that will prepare candidates to receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Confirmation. Each lesson includes full-color sacred art, background readings, student homework, games, role-plays, and assessment tools. The veteran teachers who wrote the lessons know firsthand the needs of the classroom. That's why these lessons can stand alone, are "substitute-proof", and are designed in a flexible, modular format. Activities and handouts can be photocopied. Although the lessons were written with 5th- and 6th-grade students in mind, all educators adapt the lessons for use in parish, school, and home, with older or younger students.  Paperback, 8.5 x 11, 112 pages.
