Year of Grace 2027 — Liturgy Training Publications
The Year of Grace 2027 liturgical calendar presents the bold and intensely chromatic illustrations of Argentinian artist Rebeca Luciani.
The art offers a visual meditation on the psalms that are proclaimed at Sunday Mass throughout Year B of the three-year lectionary cycle. The psalms that were chosen correspond to the portion of the liturgical year that is displayed in each of the four corners. The center of the calendar shows Jesus with his hands outstretched in prayer, a sign of his obedient, self-emptying devotion to God the Father. Focusing on the psalms provides a rich opportunity for teachers and catechists to open the prayer book of the Christian faithful and help children and adults develop a daily habit of praying with the psalms.
This year’s Year of Grace calendar includes the celebrations that are proper to the 2027 liturgical year. It begins with the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, 2026, and ends with the last Saturday of the liturgical year, November 27, 2027.
The circular display of the liturgical year makes its key features easily understandable. We can see at a glance the liturgical seasons in their characteristic colors, Sundays on the outer rim, and the days and weeks radiating from the center.
