Received: Your Journey to First Communion, 2nd Edition, (Early Readers) — Ascension

Building on the success of the original First Edition, the Received, Second Edition is for children who are still developing independent reading skills. It provides the same engaging, faithful content redesigned to be easier to read and easier to teach. The Student Workbooks feature

• a simplified reading level
• larger, easier-to-read fonts
• updated activities
• perforated pages
• simplified lesson plans
• a corresponding Second Edition Leader Guide

Without removing content, some sections have been moved out of the lessons into a Workbook appendix.

Second edition student workbooks and leader guides can be used with the earlier edition Received videos. Customers who currently use the First Edition and want to use the Second Edition only need to replace the student workbook and leader guide components. It is not recommended that classes use a mix of First and Second Editions. Although the content is fundamentally the same, the lesson plans have been simplified and the page numbers and some lesson features are different. (©2024)
