Covers the Framework Elements using The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth in an overview course for high school students. The text is organized to parallel the Catechism and offers students the opportunity to delve into, learn about, appreciate and understand their faith. Resources include: lists of patron saints, a brief summary of Catholic beliefs, a timeline of Catholic historical events and in index of key words. The Catechist Guide provides everything needed to offer an overview course about Catholic beliefs and practices in a parish religious education program. Mirrors the engaging material in The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth, Third Edition as the core content. Catechist Guide follows the sequence of the student book while also being updated to reflect the new information in the Third Edition of the Handbook.

Third Edition contains new content and updates, as well as a greater emphasis on Scripture, new sidebars related to life issues, review questions at the end of each chapter, and chapters on Salvation History and the Promise of the Messiah. Also includes the same sidebars and resources used in the earlier editions: Did You Know?; Live It!; Looking Back; Saintly Profiles; Catholic Wisdom; and Pray It!
