This module begins with a reflection on the life journey of faith. The three segments that follow explore strategies for helping 8- and 9-year-old children grow in their understanding of faith concepts, to respond to the message of Jesus in age-appropriate ways, and to respond to the demands of the Gospel.

The booklet guides the catechist through a process of reflection on the content of the module and offers background, resources and help with the skills they need to be competent and confident.
