The Treasure of My Catholic Faith 1-6, Circle

From the National Consultants for Education, this series uses the Catechism as its fundamental reference point to present the truths of the faith. Over the course of six years student learn the entire body of Catholic doctrine. In grade 1, students learn about God as Father and Creator, Jesus as Friend and Savior, and the main teachings of Jesus. In grade 2, students learn about Baptism, Reconciliation, the commandments, the Mass and liturgy. In grade 3 students learn salvation history and the virtues. In grade 4, students study the life of Jesus through the Gospels and learn about redemption. In grade 5, students study Gospel characters called by Christ, the Sermon on the Mount and the parables. And in grade 6, students learn about the love of Jesus, his teachings, passion, death and resurrection.

Student Books have eight chapters, each with four lessons. Each Teacher/Catechist Manual features a scope and sequence and specific grade-level objectives. The manuals also include teaching suggestions for each of the four lessons in each chapter.
