For the parish edition of Coming to Faith, click on the Preschool-12 Parish Programs tab at the top of this page.
This program is based on the four pillars of the Catechism and is deeply rooted in Scripture.
Student Books have faith-building lessons, learn-by-heart faith summaries, take-home pages and 20 Catholic identity presentations to help students learn specific elements of Catholic tradition. Scripture quotations are taken from the New American Bible.
Teacher Manuals include concise three-step lesson plans along with catechism references, lesson objectives and evaluations, expanded liturgical lessons, justice and peace resources, computer and whole language tips, additional enrichment suggestions, lesson extensions, and multicultural awareness activities. Please note: As Sadlier runs out of stock on certain Teacher Manuals for Coming to Faith, they substitute a black and white version for which they charge the full price.
Other materials for every grade level include Activity Books with creative activities that reinforce lesson themes, Tests masters for each chapter and unit, Review and Resource blackline masters, and Music Cassettes for grades K– 4. Home Lesson Plans transform Coming to Faith into a homeschool program, especially useful for smaller or rural parishes. They can also be used by parents to review at home.
