The Kindergarten Student Book comes in a take-home file and includes 21 lessons, 10 We Celebrate leaflets, 18 cutout activities, six booklets and five activity posters. The Student Books have five units each with 20 core chapters integrating Scripture, doctrine and classroom activities. Special We Care chapters at the end of each unit introduce Catholic social teaching. Unit Organizer and Review pages help students evaluate their own comprehension. Family Time pages provide a family activity to do at home before each lesson.
Teacher Manuals have at-a-glance planners with five lesson plans per chapter. Enrichment materials for the teacher include Scripture background, liturgy connections, bulletin board ideas and activities for special needs students. Program resources include reproducible Chapter and Unit Test booklets with CD-ROM, reproducible Project booklets and reproducible Classroom Activity books, and grade-level Music CDs with five songs per unit.
The Program Director Manual for grades 1 – 6 gives you everything you need to know to organize your school program. The Program Director Manual for grades 7 – 8 also explains how to integrate Confirmation into your program. The Pastoral Leader Resource Guide gives a program overview, sacramental preparation material, music, parent meeting formats, catechist training and retreat plans.
